The building reflects the Catalan modernism used by Gaudí in
other works of his. The curved line, representing the waves of sea, dominates
in the building. In addition there are zoomorphic elements. The outside is
covered by rough stones and this is the reason why it is called Pedrera.
5-
Cultural place with a museum on the construction techniques of
Antoni Gaudí.
Inside there are also private flats,
shops and tourist accomodation.
6- La Pedrera
has been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1984; so it is
unique in the world.
7- Curiosity and interest in discovering the ability and the originality of the
architect to design the curved lines.
