Trakay’s castle Museum - castle It was built in the second half of 14th century and the works were finished in the early 15th century by king Vytautas, it was built in the centre of a Galve Lake. The building is in Gothic style but a lot of elements are related to Romanesque style Today the castle is a museum in which people can visit this amazing Historical site and see the old rooms and the objects of the king. In Lithuania it is the most important site of and it is very peculiar because of the structure and the geographical position. I think the castle is the most amazing historic monument in Lithuania and we can see where the king lived in the country and the builder is a genius engineer because no one could attack the castle for its position.
