2.It is a centre of Art and Education. The educational units includes the Universities of Applied Sciences of Novia and Centria, the Åbo Akademi University, a Vocational Education and Training, the Music Institute of the Jakobstad Region and the Children's Art School, Balatako. There is also a Concert hall, Schauman Concert Hall, with an orchestra pit, and a GRO gallery, a contemporary art gallery established in 2012, where there are always held new exhibitions, performances and educational projects.
3.It was created around three rediscovered 18th century streets, not many years ago.
4. 5. 6.7. It is an extraordinary modern building .When I entered, I was amazed by its modern structure and the bright colours all around which made the atmosphere so lively and pleasant. I also noticed a lot of young people being there I suppose, also to spend the time together. The right place to spend some enjoyable moments of the day and socialize. I also wondered why this place was called ALLEGRO. Probably, I can imagine from the musical term Allegro, which in Italian means cheerful, joyful. This place was really ALLEGRO and conveyed cheerfulness and fun!!!
